1975 Pontiac Firebird

Factory specifications, fluid capacities, torque values, EPA fuel economy and the federal safety record for the 1975 Firebird.

The 1975 Pontiac Firebird sits at the center of a long-term ownership record captured in complaint data spanning 1990 through 2002, a period that tracks how the model performed well beyond its original model year. Reported complaints over those thirteen years peaked in 1995 with 95 entries and hit their lowest point in 1990 with just 10, a spread that suggests documented owner-reported issues concentrated in the mid-1990s rather than trailing off evenly across the decade. For researchers, that trajectory positions the 1975 Firebird as a vehicle whose later-life reliability story is defined less by consistent, year-over-year problems and more by a distinct surge and subsequent decline in reported concerns.
