2021 Mercedes GLE580

Factory specifications, fluid capacities, torque values, EPA fuel economy and the federal safety record for the 2021 GLE580.

The 2021 Mercedes GLE580 is a model-year entry whose maintenance envelope is set by a single pairing of facts: a 10.0-quart sump and an approval that allows any of three viscosity grades — 0W-20, 0W-30, or 0W-40 — depending on climate and service regime. For a researcher, that unusually broad lubricant window attached to a relatively large oil capacity is the technical signature of the 2021 car, defining fill volume, service-interval documentation, and the lubrication baseline against which any durability or cost-of-ownership study will be measured. Read against other GLE model years, the 2021 GLE580 functions as a fixed reference point: its lubrication specification is the constant that allows reliability history and owner-reported issues to be placed on a comparable footing.
