1978 GMC Truck C35

Factory specifications, fluid capacities, torque values, EPA fuel economy and the federal safety record for the 1978 C35.

The 1978 GMC Truck C35 is the focus of this overview, though the model’s documented complaint history does not extend to this model year and instead covers 1990 through 1996. Within that later window, complaints peaked at three in 1996 and bottomed out at two in 1994, a narrow spread that reflects the limited volume of reported issues recorded for the model line during that period. Because this 1978 model year falls entirely outside that reliability data set, its standing in the broader complaint history remains uncharted by those specific records, leaving researchers without documented issue trends for this particular vintage.
