1978 Buick LeSabre

Factory specifications, fluid capacities, torque values, EPA fuel economy and the federal safety record for the 1978 LeSabre.

The 1978 Buick LeSabre is the focus of a model-level complaint history covering 1990 to 2006, a span that does not reach back to this model year. That record shows complaint volume climbing to a high of 698 for the 2000 model year before falling to a low of just 3 for the 2006 model year, a spread that defines the documented range. Because the 1978 LeSabre predates this entire reporting window, it falls outside the available complaint-based reliability record and cannot be directly measured against those later peaks and valleys.
